1. It is hereby notified that China Resources Property Limited will invite tenders for Contract of Glass Repairing Works for China Resources Building on 26 Harbour Road, Wanchai. Successfully listed tenderers will be invited to tender for the Contract.

2. The scope of the Contract mainly comprises the following items:

1. The Glass Repairing Works include Glass x 8 piece, aluminum curtain wall x 2 piece and aluminum louver x 1piece in China Resources Building,

2. Provision of protective measures to the existing finishes and facilities to prevent any damage;

3. Fit-out works to the Glass Repairing Works shall be carried out in phases, according to the plans, specifications, material requirements and workmanship standards as specified in tender document;

4. Provision of supply and installation of E/M works and fittings, and re-connection to the existing E/M systems of the building;

5. The development, coordination and production of shop drawings and all necessary submissions or documents as required; and

6. All necessary temporary works (includes design) as so required.

3. The Contract is expected to be tendered out in 12 Oct 2018 and the contract commencement is anticipated to be arranged in 26 Oct 2018.

4. Contractors meeting the following requirements are now invited to apply for pre-qualification for tendering:-

1. Direct and local works experience as Main Contractor or Fit-out Contractor within the past 5 years, counting from the date of company establishment and undertaking similar works in hotel, shopping mall or prestigious club house. Projects reference must be submitted for reference.

2. Proven track records of satisfactory performance from previous clients in past 5 years.

3. Good site safety management systems, such as company safety policies and practices, safety training, audit report etc. Safety policy/environment policy shall be submitted.

4. Company profile, such as management structure, contact person, contact details and experience in the past 5 years in similar works including contract sum, commencement and completion date.

5. Period of Post on website: 12/10/2018 (Friday) to 17/10/2018 (Wednesday)

6. Date of Return of pre-qualification: on/before 17/10/2018 (Wednesday) 12:00 (download: Final Pre-qualification Document)

7. Document Requirements: Complete and return the Pre-qualification document with required supporting information: ONE hard copy and ONE soft copy (MS word) of the full submission. Copy of certificate(s) shall be endorsed by authorized representative.

8. Submission of application

Contractors’ application letters expressing their interest in being pre-qualified should be marked “Pre-qualification of Tenderers for Contract for Glass Repairing Works in China Resources Building and addressed to:

Companies failing to apply for Pre-qualification in the manner prescribed above will not be considered for the pre-qualification assessment and their name will not be put on the list of tenderers.

9. Notification of Acceptance of Qualified Tenderers will be informed in writing in due course.
