Invitation to express of interest (EOI) and notice of pre-qualification of tenderers

Contract for Renovation Works of Typical Corridors and Typical Toilets

at China Resources Building

 1. It is hereby notified that China Resources Property Limited will invite tenders for Contract for Renovation Works of Typical Corridors and Typical Toilets at China Resources Building. Successfully listed tenderers will be invited to tender for the Contract. 

2. The scope of the Contract mainly comprises the following items:

a.   Renovation work includes: (1) 29 nos. of typical corridors in China Resources Building, approx. 35m (length) x 1.5m (width) each (around 55m2); (2) 136 nos. of typical toilets (78 nos. for male toilets and 78 nos. for female toilets), approx. 10 m2 each;

b.   Provision of protections to the existing finishes and facilities to prevent damage, and removal of existing finishes and any sub-layers in the typical corridors and typical toilets;

c.   Fit-out works to the typical corridors and typical toilets, which will be carried out in phases, according to the specifications, material requirements and workmanship standards set by our company;

d.   Provision of supply and installation of E/M works and fittings, and re-connection to the existing E/M systems of the building;

e.   The development, coordination and production of shop drawings and all necessary submission documents as required; and

f.    All necessary temporary works (includes design) as required.

3. The Contract is expected to be tendered out in January 2016 and the contract commencement is anticipated to be arranged in May 2016.

4. Contractors meeting the following requirements are now invited to apply for pre-qualification for tendering:-   

a.   Direct and local works experience as Main Contractor or Fit-out Contractor within the past 5 years, counting from the date of company establishment and undertaking similar works in hotel, shopping mall or prestigious commercial building.  Projects reference must be submitted for reference.

b.   Proven track records of satisfactory performance from previous clients.

c.   Good site safety management systems, such as company safety policies and practices, safety training, audit report etc. Safety policy/environment policy shall be submitted.

d   Company profile, such as management structure, contact person, contact details and experience in the past 10 years in similar works including contract sum, start and completion date.               

5. Period of Post on website: 30/11/2015 (Monday) to 07/01/2016 (Thursday)

6. Date of Return of pre-qualification and EOI: on/before 07/01/2016 (Thursday) 12:00 (download: Final Pre-qualification Document.doc,EOI.doc)

7. Document Requirements: Complete and return the EOI and Pre-qualification document with required supporting information: ONE hard copy and ONE soft copy (MS word) of the full submission. Copy of certificate(s) shall be endorsed by authorized representative.

8. Submission of application

Contractors’ application letters expressing their interest in being pre-qualified should be marked “Pre-qualification of Tenderers for Contract for Renovation Works of Typical Corridors at China Resources Building” and addressed to:

Companies failing to apply for Pre-qualification in the manner prescribed above will not be considered for the pre-qualification assessment and their name will not be put on the list of tenderers.

9. Notification of Acceptance Qualified tenderers will be informed in writing in due course.
