Invitation to express interest and notice of pre-qualification of tenderers

Fire Services Installation Sub-contract / Electrical System Sub-contract / Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning System Sub-contract for China Resources Hotel

1.  It is hereby notified that China Resources Property Limited will invite tenders for Fire Services Installation Sub-contract / Electrical System Sub-contract / Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning System Sub-contract for the China Resources Hotel Development at 26 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Successfully listed tenderers will be invited to tender for the contract. The contract is anticipated to be tendered out in November 2015 with contract commencement in March 2016.

2.  Scope of works of this contract mainly consists of supply and installation of E&M services, for the following areas:

         2.1  A 25-storey hotel building with a 3-storey basement and a link bridge to the existing China Resources Building

         2.2  7/F, 8/F, and 9/F of the existing China Resources Building

3.  Contractors meeting the following requirements are now invited to apply for pre-qualification for tendering:-       

1. Licensed or Registered contractor(s) of relevant local authorities, such as EMSD, FSD etc.

2. Direct and local works experience as Fire Services Installation / Electrical System / Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning System Contractor(s) within the past 10 years, counting from the date of company establishment and undertaking similar works in hotel and/or prestigious commercial building.  Projects reference must be submitted for reference.

3. Proven track records of satisfactory performance from previous clients and shall submit record of conviction on safety, environment and other convictions   in recent 5 years.

4. Good site safety management systems, such as company safety policies and practices, safety training, audit report etc.  Safety policy / environment policy shall be submitted.

5. Company profile, such as management structure, contact person, contact details and experience in similar works in the past 5 years, including contract sum, start and completion date.

6. Possession of ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001:2004, OHSAS18001 work certification.

7. Capital ratio requirement - 15% of total asset.

4.  Period of Post on website : 11th September 2015 (Friday) to 12th October 2015 (Monday)

5.  Date of Return of Expression of Interest : on/before 12th October 2015 (Monday) noon
    Date of Return of Pre-qualification : on/before 14th October 2015 (Wednesday) noon

6.  Document Requirements: Complete and return the Pre-qualification document with required supporting information: ONE hard copy and ONE soft copy of the full submission. 7.  Submission of application

Contractors’ application letters expressing their interest in being pre-qualified shall be marked “Pre-qualification of Tenderers for Fire Services Installation Sub-contract / Electrical System Sub-contract / Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning System Sub-contract for China Resources Hotel” and addressed to :

Companies failing to apply for Pre-qualification in the manner prescribed above will neither be considered for the pre-qualification assessment nor the tendering.

8.  Notification of Acceptance of Qualified Tenderers will be in writing in due course.
