Invitation to express interest and notice of pre-qualification of tenderers

Main Contract for Proposed Hotel Development at China Resources Headquarter, Hong Kong

1. It is hereby notified that China Resources Property Limited will invite tenders for Main Contract for Proposed Hotel Development at China Resources Headquarter, Hong Kong.  Successfully listed tenderers will be invited to tender for the Contract.  The Contract is anticipated to be tendered out in September 2015.

2. The scope of Main Contract comprises the following items:

1. Construction of a 25 storeys (on top of 3 levels of basement) hotel building;

2. Alterations and Additions works (including structural strengthening) works of 7/F to 9/F of China Resources Building;

3. The development, coordination and production of shop drawings and all necessary statutory submission documents as required; and

4. All necessary temporary works (includes design) for the construction;

3. The contract is expected to be tendered out with contract commencement in October 2015.

4. Contractors meeting the following requirements are now invited to apply for pre-qualification for tendering:-   

1. Direct and local works experience as Main Contractor within the past 10 years, counting from the date of company establishment and undertaking similar works in hotel or prestigious commercial building.  Projects reference must be submitted for reference.

2. Local experience in steel structure construction.

3. Proven track records of satisfactory performance from previous clients and shall submit record of conviction on safety, environment and other convictions in recent 5 years.

4. Good site safety management systems, such as company safety policies and practices, safety training, audit report etc.  Safety policy / environment policy shall be submitted.

5. Company profile, such as management structure, contact person, contact details and experience in the past 10 years in similar works including contract sum, start and completion date.               

5. Period of Post on website : 20/7/2015 (Monday) to 20/8/2015 (Thursday)

6. Date of Return of pre-qualification : on/before 20/8/2015 (Thursday) 17:30              (download:Final Pre-qualification Document_20150720)

7. Document Requirements: Complete and return the Prequalification document with required supporting information: ONE hard copy and ONE soft copy (MS word) of the full submission. Copy of certificate(s) shall be endorsed by authorized representative.

8. Submission of application

Contractors’ application letters expressing their interest in being pre-qualified should be marked “Pre-qualification of Tenderers for Main Contract for Proposed Hotel Development at China Resources Headquarter, Hong Kong” and addressed to:

Companies failing to apply for Pre-qualification in the manner prescribed above will not be considered for the pre-qualification assessment and their name will not be put on the list of tenderers.

9. Notification of Acceptance Qualified tenderers will be informed in writing in due course.
