Invitation to express interest and notice of pre-qualification of tenderers

1. Making Good the Façade LED Lighting System

2. Supply of Façade Lighting Fixtures

for

China Resources Building at 26 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.

1. It is hereby notified that China Resources Property Limited  (CRPL) will invite tenders for the captioned contract of (a) and (b). Successfully listed tenderers will be invited to tender for the contract.  The contract is anticipated to be tendered out in July 2015.

2. Scope of works

Part (a):- make good the existing façade LED lighting system. The contractor shall supply all materials and equipment necessary except those in Part (b) below, and provide a 2-year maintenance service covering the whole façade LED lighting system of China Resources Building.

Part (b):- supply all types of lighting fixtures as stated in the specification(s) of tender document. The contractor shall warrant the quality of all lighting fixtures for two years minimum, and be responsible for replenishment of any defective items within the said period of time. No wear and tear would be considered.

3. Contractors meeting the following requirements are now invited to apply for pre-qualification for tendering:-       

1. Contractors must have direct and local work experience on LED light fixtures supply and installation the past 3 years, counting from the date of company establishment and undertaking similar works for commercial building.  Project references for the last 3 years must be submitted for reference.

2. Contractors must have proven track records of satisfactory performance from previous clients and should submit record of conviction on safety, environment and other convictions   in the recent 3 years.

3. Contractors must have good site safety management systems, such as company safety policies and practices, safety training, audit report, etc.  Safety policy / environment policy shall be submitted.

4. Contractors must provide their company profile, such as management structure, contact person, contact details and experience in the past 3 years in similar works including contract sum, start and completion dates.          

4. Period of Post on website : 02 July 2015 (Thursday) to 09 July 2015 (Thursday)

5. Date of Return of expression of interest and pre-qualification : on/before 09 July 2015 (Thursday) 13:00 hour  (download:Prequalification document_CRB Facade Lighting Rectification ) 

6. Document Requirements: Complete and return the Prequalification document with required supporting information: ONE hard copy and ONE soft copy (MS word) of the full submission. Copy of certificate(s) shall be endorsed by authorized representative.

7. Submission of application

Contractors’ application letters expressing their interest in being pre-qualified should be marked “Pre-qualification of Tenderers for Façade Lighting System Rectification of Installation and Façade Lighting LED Fixtures Supply for China Resources Building” and addressed to :

Companies failing to apply for Pre-qualification in the manner prescribed above will not be considered for the pre-qualification assessment and their name will not be put on the list of tenderers.

8. Notification of Acceptance Qualified tenderers will be informed in due course in writing.
