Invitation to express interest and notice of pre-qualification of tenderers

Curtain Wall Contract for Hotel Development

1. It is hereby notified that China Resources Property Limited will invite tenders for curtain wall contract. Successfully listed tenderers will be invited to tender for the contract.The contract is anticipated to be tendered out in August 2015.

2. Scope of works of this contract mainly consists of design, supply and installation of curtain wall, glass, claddings, louvers, glass canopy and glass balustrades, for a 25 storey hotel building with about GFA of 20,000m² at 26 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.The contract is expected to be tendered out with contract commencement in October 2015.

3. Contractors meeting the following requirements are now invited to apply for pre-qualification for tendering:

1. Contractors must be a member of Facade Contractors Association.

2. Contractors must have direct and local works experience on curtain wall design, supply and installation within the past 5 years, counting from the date of company establishment and undertaking similar works in hotel and commercial building.  Projects reference of last 5 years must be submitted for reference.

3. Contractor must have proven track records of satisfactory performance from previous clients and should submit record of conviction on safety, environment and other convictions   in recent 5 years.

4. Contractors must have good site safety management systems, such as company safety policies and practices, safety training, audit report etc.  Safety policy / environment policy shall be submitted.

5. Contractors must possess ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001:2004, OHSAS18001 work certification.

6. Contractors must have capital ratio requirement - 15% of total asset.

7. Contractors must provide their company profile, such as management structure, contact person, contact details and experience in the past 5 years in similar works including contract sum, start and completion date.         

4. Period of Post on website :15 June 2015 (Monday) to 02 July 2015 (Thursday)

5. Date of Return of expression of interest and pre-qualification : on/before 03 July 2015 (Friday) 13:00 hour.

6. Document Requirements: Complete and return the Prequalification document with required supporting information: ONE hard copy and ONE soft copy (MS word) of the full submission. Copy of certificate(s) shall be endorsed by authorized representative.

7. Submission of application

Contractors’ application letters expressing their interest in being pre-qualified should be marked “Pre-qualification of Tenderers for Design, Supply and Installation of Curtain Wall for China Resources Hotel” and addressed to :

Companies failing to apply for Pre-qualification in the manner prescribed above will not be considered for the pre-qualification assessment and their name will not be put on the list of tenderers.

8. Notification of Acceptance Qualified tenderers will be informed in due course in writting.
